Storm and inspection
April 2024 hail dropped 1.5" stones across the 71st/Yale corridor. Homeowner called us four days later — they'd already had two competing contractors out and gotten two very different scopes.
Our free inspection found bruising across all four slopes, granule loss in three downspout splashes, and a creased ridge cap. Plenty of damage. We marked, photographed, and chalked every hit for the carrier.
Claim handling
Filed with Allstate. Adjuster meeting on the roof. First-pass scope approved front and east slopes only. We walked the adjuster through the west and rear, supplemented, and got the full roof plus ridge cap, gutter screens, and decking spot-repair approved within 8 business days.

Frequently asked
What was the homeowner's out-of-pocket?
Their $2,000 policy deductible. Carrier covered the balance — $16,840 total project — after the supplement was approved.
How long from first call to magnet sweep?
16 days, including waiting on the supplement.
Was the first-pass adjuster scope unfair?
Not unfair — incomplete. Adjusters work from the ladder and miss what they can't see well. A real roofer on the roof during the meeting closes those gaps.
