The starting point
Homeowner contacted us after a neighbor referral. The roof was 13 years old, builder-grade architectural, and had bruising visible across the south slope after the April 2024 hail event. They had already been told by a competing contractor that 'there might not be enough damage to file.'
Our inspection found bruising across all four slopes, granule loss in two downspout splashes, and a creased ridge cap on the south side — likely from straight-line wind after the hail. Plenty of damage for a claim.
Claim and supplement
Filed with State Farm. Adjuster meeting on the roof — first pass approved the front and south slopes only. We documented the rear and north slopes with photos and chalk marks, walked the adjuster through, and got the supplement approved for full replacement plus ridge cap, decking spot repair, and gutter screens.

Why Pinnacle Pristine over Architectural?

How long from first call to magnet sweep?
21 days, mostly waiting on the supplement approval.
