What we changed besides shingles
Original ridge venting was technically right linear footage but the intake at the soffit was blocked in three places. We cleared intake, installed continuous baffles, and balanced exhaust to the new intake. Attic now runs within 15°F of outdoor ambient.
Ice-and-water shield was missing from two valleys. We installed it in every valley and along the eaves. We caught one soft decking sheet near the south valley and replaced it before underlayment.
